When should I order save the dates UK?
We recommend giving your invitees as much notice as possible to ensure they’re able to mark your day down on their calendar. Most UK couples tend to send their save the dates around 12 months before their big day, however this will differ depending on how far in advance your wedding is and whether guests will have to make travel plans, childcare plans, or any other plans that take time to organise.
With this in mind, we would recommend getting your save the date printing underway as soon as you have a date, venue, rough guest list number, and wedding theme in place.
Is it possible to customise your pre-made designs for wedding save the date cards?
Absolutely! We offer free design changes on all of our pre-designed Save the Dates – we want them to be perfect for your day after all. Once you’ve placed your order, reply to your confirmation email with any edits or customisations you’d like us to make and our design team will create digital proof for your approval.
Can I order different designs for day and evening guests?
Yes! If you’re happy to customise the same design template for both your day & night save the dates, simply use our ‘split order’ option on the customisation page. This will allow you to split your order across multiple different designs, so all you’ll have to do is send us your day & night save the date details in a design brief post-checkout.
Can you print my artwork, or do I have to use your pre-made designs?
If you’re something of a design whizz and simply need us to turn your save the date designs into premium printed luxurious save the date cards, you’re more than welcome to send us your print ready artwork! What paper options do you offer for save the dates?
We’re proud to offer more paper options than most print professionals, from classics like silk, gloss, and uncoated to luxurious eco-options like cotton, cannabis, and kraft. Hey, we’ve even got premium wedding stock favourites like our Zeta and Colorplan ranges!
All of our stocks are tested across our entire save-the-date range, meaning the options we make available on each save the date type are curated to that product. This means you may find that not all of our stocks are available across all of our print types. For example, if you’re ordering a concertina-style template design that requires folds, some of our thicker stocks may be unavailable.
Do you offer metallic foil or any other luxury finishes?
Yes! You can level-up any of our (or your) save the date designs by adding metallic foil, soft-touch laminate, die-cutting, rounded corners, and more. You can even add metallic foil and lamination to our pre-made designs!
Do I need to include all my wedding details on my save the date invites?
Nope! Your save the date wedding cards should simply include your names, wedding date, and location (if confirmed), plus a note that a formal invitation with more information will follow. The purpose of your save the dates is simply to allow your invitees to mark your date on their calendar and make any early plans.
Can I get a digital proof before printing?
Yes! Whether you choose to submit your own design, team up with our studio team to make a bespoke design for you, or choose one of our professionally designed templates, you’ll be sent a digital proof to approve prior to print. This is your opportunity to make any changes or correct any potential spelling mistakes that may have come from your original artwork or brief.
How long does it take to print and deliver wedding save the dates?
This is entirely dependent on the specifics of your order, such as design requirements, the time it takes you to approve your proof, and the level of finishing your save the dates require. You will be given an approximate turnaround time before placing your order, however this will be confirmed as soon as your proof has been approved. Ultimately, the sooner you get your files to us and approve your digital proof, the sooner your save the date printing will be complete.
Can we match the rest of our wedding stationery to our save the dates?
Definitely! Our design themes are available across a number of different wedding stationery products, including invitations, RSVPs, belly bands, and custom wedding envelopes. You’re also welcome to apply your chosen design to any of our wedding stationery, including signage, stickers, and more, by simply selecting the ‘supply brief and we design’ option at checkout and letting your assigned designer know which theme you’d like customising for your chosen product.
Are your save the dates suitable for eco-weddings?
All of our paper types are carbon neutral, however some are bigger eco-heroes than others! We have a wide range of sustainable options to choose from, including recycled and compostable paper stocks, allowing you to create beautiful Save the Dates with minimal environmental impact. What’s more, with vegetable-derived vegan toners and energy efficient printing presses producing your Save the Dates, you can rest assured that our contribution to your big day is green!
Can I see a sample before I place my order?

What happens if I need to make changes after placing my order?
You can request any changes any time before approving your digital proof. Once approved, your Save the Dates will make their way into production, at which point changes will not be possible.
