Can I customize the size and design of the drawer box packaging?
You certainly can, our handy price calculator allows you to enter the height, width and depth of your final 3d dimensions and gives you an instant quote. You can change these dimensions as you need and the calculator will instantly update. Alternatively, if you've already made the net for your pull out box and just need someone to print it, you can input your flat size by using our custom net option.
What paper types are available for the custom drawer box packaging?
Currently, we only offer a packaging board and kraft brown paper board. We're always looking at new innovative packaging materials but this takes time to quality inspect and rigorously test so that we're 100% happy that your end results will look superb.
Can you help with designing the artwork for my packaging?
Yes, with a full in-house design team, we can take a written brief and turn it into the final finished artwork for your box with pull out drawer. Simply select "supply brief and we design" in the product calculator below and then when you've placed your order, email us your design brief and we'll get started! Are the drawer boxes two-piece, allowing the outer sleeve to be removed from the sliding tray?
Our custom drawer box packaging is intended to be made up of an outer sleeve and an inner tray that can be fully removed. That said, if you have your own pull out box packaging net which varies from this format, we're more than happy to print it for you provided you've tested it beforehand and are happy with the folding and functionality of the final product.
Can you supply a pull-out box template for me to design on?
If you know the final 3d dimensions of your drawer box packaging, then you can contact our team to request a custom template made to that size. This will consist of both the outer sleeve and inner tray for you to impose your design ontop of. It will be clearly marked in what areas are printable.
What is the max size my drawer box packaging can be?
Because we want your pull out boxes to be as customisable as possible, we don't set exact height, width and depth limitations. We do however have a maximum flat size that we're able to print which is A3 (420mm x 297mm). Anything that when unfolded fits within those boundaries should be fine to print.
Will my gift box with pull-out drawer come assembled?
Both the sleeve and tray will arrive to you flat-packed. Everything will be creased and taped ready to go, all you need to do is fold, remove the tape backing and assemble them as and when you need. This not only saves on cost, but means we're being as economical as possible when it comes to shipping.
Artwork Requirements
The Basics
Allow 2mm of bleed around all artwork for cutting tolerances.
Format all artwork to CMYK.
Set your resolution to a minimum of 300DPI.
Supply your artwork in PDF, JPG or fully packaged AI formats.
Keep all text, logos and foreground images within a 3mm safe zone from the cut edge.
Metallic Foil & Spot UV Products
Separate all foil elements from CMYK artwork, place foil elements on a separate page, and supply as 100% K (black). See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for foil printing.
Die Cut Or Kiss Cut (Shaped) Products Including Stickers
Indicate cut lines using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page. See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for die/kiss cutting.
Folded, Perforated or Drilled Products
Indicate any crease lines, perforation lines or drill holes using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page.
Spot Colours
Supply your artwork as CMYK + 1 Spot Colour. See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for spot colour printing.
Name your spot colour layer with the colour you've chosen, for example 'gold' or 'silver'.
