If you need postcards printed but don’t want the same boring paper types and lacklustre laminates you’ve seen elsewhere, you’re in the right place. With more paper types than we can keep track of, from biodegradable stocks such as cotton to artist favourites such as G.F.Smith White Frost, order a sample pack to see them all for yourself. As far as laminate is concerned, we don’t limit you to a ‘one laminate fits all’ model, in fact, we offer three stunning laminates: Matte, Gloss, and Soft-Touch, all available to view in our sample pack.
If you want to make the most of your printed postcards, you can print on the front and rear of your cards, however, we recommend only laminating the front if the rear is intended to be written on. As for finishing, well, where do we start? If you want metallic foil on your postcard prints, we’ve got more than 10 shimmering shades designed to make your postcard print truly unique. From modern holographic to glamorous gold, whatever your aesthetic, we’ve got the foil. Oh, and something else we’ve got? Envelopes! FAQ's
Can I print on both sides of my postcards?
Absolutely! We recommend taking up all that lovely printing real estate by printing on both sides. Whether that’s a photo on the front and text lines on the rear or something more unique to your needs, you tell us where you would like your print and we’ll get the job done.
I want gloss laminate on my postcards, would you recommend laminating both sides?
Great choice! If the rear of your postcard is designed to be written on, we would recommend only laminating the front of your printed postcards. This is because a ballpoint pen won’t write quite as well on laminated paper as it would on unlaminated postcards. However, if your postcard is purely informational or artistic and isn’t designed to be written on, lamination would work perfectly well on both sides.
Can I have different coloured foils on my postcards?
You are free to choose one foil shade per side! If you want to browse our metallic foils, we recommend ordering a sample pack, that way you can print your postcards with double-sided foil safe in the knowledge that you’ve chosen the right shades.
I have 5 different photographs to split across 250 postcards, is this something you can do?
Absolutely! Our custom postcard printing allows you to split your order across as many different designs as you need. To split your 5 designs over 250 postcards, select 250 as your quantity and 5 as your number of designs when you head through our checkout.
If I print postcards online with Aura Print, when will they arrive?
Turnaround time depends on the specifics of your order, including whether or not we’re designing them for you, how many you need, and the level of finishing required. To find out when your postcards should arrive, configure your order, head through to the checkout, and see the estimated turnaround time. Alternatively, you can opt for a rush delivery service or speak to a member of our team to find out if we can get your postcards to you on time.
