Die Cut Or Kiss Cut (Shaped) Products Including Stickers
We aim to produce and dispatch all orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. As every product is custom printed to order, turnaround times can vary depending on artwork approval, quantity, finishing options, and the complexity of the project.
Once your proof has been approved, the minimum production turnaround is 2 working days before dispatch. More specialist products and finishes including duplexed, triplexed, die cut, and foiled items will usually require additional production time due to the extra processes involved. Customers can view a more accurate turnaround estimate at any time by configuring their product within the online calculator.
If you’re working towards a tight deadline, we also offer a Rush Service at checkout which reduces the production turnaround by 1 working day on eligible products.
Orders are carefully printed, finished, quality checked, and prepared for dispatch before being shipped using tracked courier services. Mainland UK delivery is charged at £7.95 + VAT. Can You Print Perforated Tickers With Tear-Off Stubs?+
Yes, we can absolutely print your tickets with perforations if you need tear-off sections for your event.
If one part of your ticket needs to be kept by the guest and the other part needs collecting on entry or stored for bookkeeping, we make it really easy. Whether you’re hosting a raffle, event, or printing cloakroom tickets, you can choose up to 3 horizontal, vertical, or custom perforations, allowing you to place your tear-off sections wherever you need them.
If your ticket includes a stub, we’d suggest planning the layout around the perforation from the start, rather than adding it to your design at the end. Event details, numbers, QR odes, logos, and small text should all sit safely away from the tear line so nothing important gets split when the stub is removed.
Do You Print Ticket Books?+
Ticket books are available, but they need to be ordered through our dedicated ticket book printing page.
If you need tickets supplied as books, pads, or group sets, head over to our ticket book page so the order can be set up correctly from the beginning. Our customers generally prefer loose versions for event tickets, premium entry tickets, keepsake tickets, raffle tickets, or promotional tickets.
If you’re not sure whether you need loose tickets or ticket books, think about how they’ll be handed out. Loose tickets are usually easier for even packs, postal fulfillment, gift envelopes, and premium presentation, while event books are better suited to tickets that need to be issued one by one at a school, club, theatre, fundraiser, or local event.
Can You Add Names, Numbers, or Unique Details to Each Ticket?+
Yes, we can personalise your tickets using data merge if each one needs a different number, name, seat, table, ticket type, QR code, or entry detail.
This is a great option if you need sequentially numbered tickets for raffles, prize draws, charity events, concert tickets, or theatre nights. You can send us a spreadsheet with the information you want printed on each ticket, and we’ll merge them into your design.
To make this run smoothly, your spreadsheet should be clean and clearly labelled. For example, use separate columns for ticket number, attendee name, seat number, table number, ticket type, or QR code. It’s also worth allowing enough space in the design for longer names or numbers, especially if the data changes from ticket to ticket.
What Size Should I Print My Custom Tickets?+
That really depends on how your tickets will be used and the amount of information you need to fit on them.
At Aura Print, you can choose from popular ticket sizes such as 74x210mm, DL & A6, but if none of those are quite right you’re welcome to enter your own custom size. Longer DL-style tickets are commonly used for entry tickets, theatre tickets, raffle tickets, golden tickets, and events where you need ample space for a tear-off stub. A6 gives you more room for artwork, sponsor logos, event information, or a larger QR code.
If the ticket is mainly for admission, keep the design clear and easy to check at the door. If it’s more of a keepsake, gift ticket, VIP pass, or premium event ticket, you might want to go for a slightly larger size, foil, rounded corners, or a thicker stock to make it feel more special.
Can I Print on Both Sides of My Tickets?+
Absolutely - we can print your tickets single-sided or double-sided.
Single-sided tickets work a trat if your design is simpla and all the key details fit neatly on the front. Double-sided tickets are a better choice if you want the front to focus on the event livery while the back outlines all the important information your customers/guests might need ahead of your event. This could include anything from terms and conditions to venue directions, sponsor details, social media handles, timings, or entry instructions.
If you tickets include perforations, both sides need to be designed around the tear-off section. Anything important should sit away from the perforation line so the ticket still makes sense once the stub has been removed. For events where tickets will be kept as a souvenir, double-sided printing can make the finished piece feel much more complete.
What Paper Stock Should I Choose for My Tickets?+
The right paper stock really depends on whether your tickets need to feel practical, premium, eco-friendly, or keepsake-worthy.
For the majority of event tickets we print, a sturdy cardstock is the go-to choice because tickets need to be handled, checked, carried in bags, and sometimes kept as keepsakes once the event is over and done with. Smooth papers such as silk or gloss are useful if you want bold colour and sharp artwork, while uncoated or recycled stocks can work well for softer, more natural-looking event tickets.
We offer a wide range of paper stocks, with available weights depending on the material selected. If your ticket includes foil, lamination, perforations, or rounded corners, the paper type you choose becomes even more important because not every finish is available on every stock.
Can I Add Foil, Gold, or Silver Print to Tickets?+
Yes! At Aura Print, we can produce tickets with black print, CMYK full colours, CMYK plus silver, or CMYK plus gold, depending on the finish you want.
We can also add metallic foil or raised spot UV to suitable ticket stocks if you want something that feels a bit fancier. Our customers love adding foil to their VIP tickets, golden tickets, theatre tickets, prize draw tickets, keepsake tickets, and concert tickets where the finish is part of the experience.
If you’re adding metallic foil, we’d usually recommend using it for specific details such as ticket titles, borders, logos, numbers, or decorative details rather than covering the whole ticket (golden tickets excluded, of course). Foiled sides will include soft touch laminate as standard to help the foil apply properly.
If you’re choosing a metallic finish, we recommend taking a closer look at our foil colours before choosing.
Can My Tickets Be Printed in Custom Shapes?+
Of course. Your tickets can be printed in portrait, landscape, square, or custom die-cut shapes.
Most tickets are rectangular because they’re convenient to handle, check, stack, and perforate, but custom-shaped tickets can work brilliantly for themed events. A golden ticket, a festval pass, theatre ticket, carnival voucher, drinks token, or branded launch ticket can massively benefit from a bit of die-cutting.
If you’re planning a custom-shaped ticket, remember to keep it practical. Very thin sections, sharp points, or tiny cut-out areas can make tickets more jarring to handle or more fragile. If you want perforations, sequential numbering, or QR codes as well, the design needs enough space for those elements to work properly.
Can I Order Different Ticket Types for the Same Event?+
Yes, you can split your order across multiple designs, which is imperative if your event has different ticket types.
For example, you might need adult tickets, child tickets, VIP tickets, general admission tickets, or tickets for different time slots. As long as the production setup works across the entire order, splitting the designs is much easier than placing separate orders for each version.
If each ticket needs a unique number, name, table, or seat, data merge may be the better option. We can help personalise the tickets from a spreadsheet so your order arrives ready for sorting, selling, posting, or handing out.

Can You Design My Tickets for Me?+
Absolutely! If you don’t have finished ticket artwork, our in-house design team can create it from your brief.
This is the best option if you know your event details and have a rough idea of how it should look, but can’t quite get it down on paper. Send us all the information you need to feature on your tickets, along with any design ideas or inspiration you have, and our design team will get to work creating a design that suits your event perfectly.
Remember, tickets need to be clear as well as good-looking. An awesome design is great, but guests and door staff still need to read the date, venue, entry type, ticket number, and any important instructions quickly and easily.

How Should I Supply My Artwork for Ticket Printing?+
If you’re supplying your own ticket artwork, please make sure it is set up at the correct size with bleed, safe zones, and any finishing details applied.
This is really important for tickets because they tend to include borders, perforations, QR codes, numbers, barcodes, logos, and very small text. Keep all important details away from trim edges and perforation lines so nothing gets cut off, torn through, or placed too close to the edge.
If your order includes numbering or personalisation, please ensure the artwork has a clear space for the variable information. If you’re including a QR code on your tickets, we also recommending testing it before sending the file over, also ensuring it is large enough to scan quickly and easily.
We offer a wide range of eco friendly paper options, including classics such as recycled, Kraft, and cotton, alongside more unique, heavily textured materials like rag, cannabis, and wheat. All 6 of these stocks are fantastic choices if sustainability is important to your event.

We graphic designers know that human creativity is the core of what we do, which is why I was so appreciative that I was working with fellow humans through this process, and not through some AI. Further, the shipping process was spectacular. Whereas many US-based businesses were offering week-long SHIPPING times (excluding printing), Aura offers as its default UPS Express shipping for the US. As a result, their shipments have a 2-day transit time (for me, in a smaller city, but would be overnight for major metros), and are guaranteed by UPS. Having traversed the world of e-commerce shipping, nothing brings me greater relief than to see UPS as a shipping option. Additionally, and quite importantly for my fellow US designers, because my order consisted of what could reasonably be described as printed marketing materials, they should not be subject to tariffs. The shipping department at Aura made sure that the customs information was filled out correctly, leaving me with no duties to pay, for which I am eternally grateful. Awed by the quality of my save-the-dates, proceeding with the rest of my suite was a no-brainer, which included a main invite, detail card, and reply card. The turnaround time was similarly rapid, and the quality of the work simply unmatched. To all designers, but especially those in the US, do not let the idea of an international shipper stop you. I've never known a more professional company, period, and will certainly be reordering whenever my next printing job arises. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!
