Choose Drilled Or Euroslot Header Cards
Our custom header cards can be printed and re-sized to any dimensions you require. All we require are your flat height and width, that is to say, before you'd folder them over.
We also allow you a choice between euro slot header cards or drilled cards. The difference here depends on the shelving you'll be displaying your products on. A single drilled hole will suffice for a single wire rack, but euroslot header cards are specifically designed to fit on supermarket shelves that also display prices. If you're having rectangular or square header cards the cheapest option is to have a drilled hole, however, if you're going with a die-cut design anyway, then euroslot header cards will be included in that price.
Lastly, our customisation options don't stop there, you can also finish off your cardboard header cards with luxurious lamination options like gloss, matt, or soft-touch to add that extra attention to detail. This also adds strength which can be especially useful if your bagged item is heavy.

Do you print foil header cards?
Yes we do. We offer metallic foil header card printing with a choice of over 10 different foil colours.
The choice of foil colour is entirely up to you. It depends what colour links or compliments your brand/aesthetic. To see how bright each of our metallic foils shine, we recommend ordering one of our metallic foil sample packs.
How long does header card printing take?
Header cards and bag toppers can be printed as quickly as 2 working days with rush service. Standard production times start from 3 working days. These times may increase depending on the quantity required and if any specialist finishing is required such as metallic foiling.

Can you cut a custom shape hole in the top of my header card?
Our header cards and bag toppers are available with 2 different hanging options as standard. You can choose between a 5mm hole or a standard euro slot for retail hanging.
If you would like a different shape hole for hanging or you would like a custom shaped header card, please drop our customer service team an email with all your requirements and we will work out a bespoke quote for you.
What is a header card and what are they used for?
Custom printed header cards and bag toppers are the ideal solution if you have products to set out on display hooks, pegboard hooks or slatwall hooks in a retail environment.
They are folded cards which are usually applied to the top of a clear plastic bag or pouch that contains the goods you are selling, such as bags of sweets or small accessories.
The folded card provides a canvas for a professional design detailing the goods and promoting your brand.
The hole or euro slot allows the product to easily slide along the display hook for professional display in a retail setting.
Do you crease and fold your header cards?
Our printed header cards are creased using high quality print finishing equipment so that a perfect fold is achieved every time.
To minimise the potential for damage during delivery, our header cards are supplied and packed flat. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean you will have loads of work when you receive them. It’s recommended you fold them at the time you apply them to your packaging.
Folding along the crease line we create is so easy to do, it literally takes a fraction of a second.
Which paper types do you offer for header cards?
From coated papers like silk and gloss to uncoated, or eco-friendly versions such as cannabis or wheat. As well as a variety of textured papers like zeta hammer or Tintoretto gesso, there are too many types of paper to mention them all here. The calculator above shows you all the different types available at a glance.
If you are seeking advice on which paper to use for your bag toppers – there is no right or wrong choice, it depends what suits your brand or aesthetic as well as – what you like! To help you make an informed choice, we would recommend ordering paper samples.
A good quality paper type for printing header cards is silk paper. This is a nice, smooth satin-effect paper that offers exceptional printing results. 250gsm silk and above can be laminated to give additional protection and is also compatible with our metallic foil process.
Which paper GSM should I choose for my header cards?
It depends what your main priority is. If budget is key, there are savings to be made by choosing thinner papers like 250gsm. If quality and durability are key, we would recommend opting for a thicker material such as 350gsm or 400gsm.
Most customers tend to opt for paper weights of 300gsm and above to give their header cards a better quality feel and so they last longer.
