How many foil colours can I have on my foiled wedding invitations?
You can choose 1 foil colour per side, so if you’re printing single-sided invitations, you will need to choose 1 shade, however if you’re printing double-sided invitations you will have the option to choose 2 shades!
What paper type would you suggest for custom foil wedding invitations?
Now that’s a question we simply can’t answer! We have an enormous amount of paper types to choose from, all recommended for different themes, styles, and wedding aesthetics. So, if you’re going for understated, you might want to consider a crisp white stock such as G.F.Smith White Frost or Uncoated, however if you’ve got a botanical theme, you may want to check out our G.F.Smith Forest cardstock. If you’re struggling to decide, we recommend ordering a sample pack, crammed full of all our favourites.
Do I have to have lamination on my foil wedding invites?
Fortunately, yes! Our soft-touch lamination is an integral part of our foil wedding invitations, providing a smooth-as-butter surface for your shimmering foil to sit on top of. Absolutely! When you place your order, hit ‘Supply Brief & We Design’, await your order confirmation, and respond with your detailed design brief. This can include an image or link to your Pinterest board, giving your assigned designer a bit of insight into the theme of your wedding. Your brief will also need to include all those important invitation details, such as the bride & grooms name, wedding date, venue, and any other important information.
When should I print my foil wedding invites?
That depends how far in advance you’ll be sending your invitations. If you plan to post your invitations 12 months before your wedding date, we recommend thinking about ordering your invitations 13 months before your wedding, especially if you want to team up with our designers to create bespoke invitations. Save yourself some wedding planning stress by ordering with plenty of time to spare!
