The process begins with your flyer being professionally printed in full colour using high-resolution digital presses. Once printed, a smooth soft-touch laminate is applied to the surface, creating a premium feel and providing the ideal base for the foil to bond cleanly.

Supplying artwork for foiling is a little different than with standard print. We need your foil design to be supplied separately from your print design. All foil elements need to be 100% black on a white background. The second file is for your print, with all foil areas removed. For assistance with your foiled artworks, send our team a quick email and they can provide custom advice tailored to your design.
Do My Foil Flyers Need To Be Laminated?+
All of our flyers with metallic foil come with a soft touch laminate as standard. With a smooth velvety feel, our soft touch laminate adds a lovely touch to the surface of your foil flyers. To see an example of our laminate in person, feel free to order a sample.
How Long Does It Take To Receive My Foil Flyers?+
After sending us your lovely artwork, a member of our artwork team will be in touch with your digital proof. Approving this proof will start the production process on your flyers with metallic foil. Once in production, it can take up to 5 working days to create your foil flyers.

I was blown away by the lightning-fast proofing process, and then the incredibly quick printing. Both orders included custom foiling (which I could not find for a better price point anywhere, especially here in the US). We graphic designers know that human creativity is the core of what we do, which is why I was so appreciative that I was working with fellow humans through this process, and not through some AI. Further, the shipping process was spectacular. Whereas many US-based businesses were offering week-long SHIPPING times (excluding printing), Aura offers as its default UPS Express shipping for the US. As a result, their shipments have a 2-day transit time (for me, in a smaller city, but would be overnight for major metros), and are guaranteed by UPS. Having traversed the world of e-commerce shipping, nothing brings me greater relief than to see UPS as a shipping option. Additionally, and quite importantly for my fellow US designers, because my order consisted of what could reasonably be described as printed marketing materials, they should not be subject to tariffs. The shipping department at Aura made sure that the customs information was filled out correctly, leaving me with no duties to pay, for which I am eternally grateful. Awed by the quality of my save-the-dates, proceeding with the rest of my suite was a no-brainer, which included a main invite, detail card, and reply card. The turnaround time was similarly rapid, and the quality of the work simply unmatched. To all designers, but especially those in the US, do not let the idea of an international shipper stop you. It was easy to get a quote on their website and to view the various price points for different size options and card stock etc. Aura Print were able to produce a small batch for me and it was a reasonable price.
The artwork on my cards is vibrant and I needed my cards to be printed on both sides.
My order arrived quickly and the cards were printed to a high standard and the vibrancy of colour in the printing was exactly as I imagined it to be.
I will definitely be using Aura Print again in the future.
