In short, yes. To achieve the best finish, all foiled products, including greeting cards, require our soft touch lamination, but why wouldn’t you want it? Our laminate keeps your chosen foil shade shining brightly for a long time, while adding an ultra-think luxurious protective layer to the front and rear of the card, ensuring it looks its best for as long as your recipient chooses to keep it on their mantel.
What is your foil made from?
At it’s core, ‘foil’ is an ultra-thin, extra sophisticated aluminum transfer material that, when applied to our range of luxury materials, results in a shimmering flat-foil finish that sits flush on the surface of your custom gold foil greeting cards.
Can I add more than one design when placing my order for gold foil greeting card printing?
Absolutely! Whether you’re supplying your own artwork or having our design team create bespoke designs for you, you are not limited to one, or even few, designs when placing your order. On your way through to the checkout, you’ll be given the option to split your order across multiple designs, allowing you to enter the quantity you plan to split them between or choosing to personalise your prints with a data merge, allowing you to print as many individually personalised prints as you need. Can you send my gold foil greeting cards to different addresses?
At Aura Print, we print and ship your cards to a single address, whether that’s in the UK or USA, leaving you to distribute your foiled greeting cards as you wish.
Which paper type is easiest to write on?
We recommend uncoated paper as the best paper for writing on. It’s similar to the texture of regular notebook paper and doesn’t have any glossy finish that can make a ballpoint pen difficult to use. This will not be the same however for the outside of the card, as this side will feature a soft-touch lamination to accommodate your foil, so keep your writing to the inside of the card! If you would like to see our vast paper range before ordering, we recommend ordering a sample pack.
Can I print a single foiled greeting card?
Due to our set-up procedure for foiled greeting card printing, our standard minimum order quantity is 50 custom foil greeting cards. You can however place an order for 5 sample copies, however this is priced at a premium to accommodate the set-up and production time required to fulfill a short-run order.
