FAQS
Which is the best paper for my foiled letterheads?
There isn't one paper that is the best, it's all down to preference. If you have lots of white space we often recommend going for uncoated paper as it has a clean, cool white appearance. If you're printing a pattern design to the background, even if it's very light, we'd recommend silk as it'll have a more crisp print result on coated paper. Read our blog to learn the difference between uncoated, silk and gloss paper types.
Why would I want creases on my foiled letterheads?
If you intend to fold down your foiled letterhead to a smaller size so it will fit in an envelope then creases provide the cleanest way to do this. They aid in folding by providing a "creased" line to fold down. It provides a clean fold line so your letterheads still look professional once folded.
Why can I only use gold, silver and holographic foil?
Due to our print process, gold, silver and holographic foil are the only foils we offer that are compatible to be printed without a laminate and then printed over the top of. This ensures we can provide you with the best possible product which has the highest likelihood of being printable on your own desktop printer after orders.
Will these letterheads work on my printer?
We've tried our best, but cannot guarantee our printed materials will work on whatever printer you have. Simply because there are tens of thousands of printers out there in the world and it would be impossible to test them all. If you're at all worried, we recommend first ordering a small quantity.
Can you design my foil letterheads?
We certainly can, just select the design option alongside your print order. Then once you've placed your order, email us your design brief with any logos or images you want to include. Our design team will then work with your to get your desired look. If you want to mock up your own design before having it made professionally, we have a blog guide all about designing your own letterhead.
