How long does it take to print certificates?

We’ll print and post your certificates in as little as 1 working day from proof approval, using next-day delivery (UK only). Please note that your certificate's paper thickness and finishing choices may increase the time it takes to print your order. You'll be given a choice of turnaround time before you add your order to the basket, you'll just need to finalise your print options.

What’s the maximum size of foiled certificate I can print?

We can print practically any standard or custom size certificate you need, up to a maximum size of A3 (297 x 420 mm).

How do you print your certificates?

Our foiled certificates are printed in high-quality CMYK toner using industry-leading digital printing machines. They can be printed in black only or in full colour and special colours like silver and gold metallic foil or spot UV.

What papers can I print on?

We pride ourselves on an industry-leading choice of standard and luxury paper stocks, specially chosen for their quality by our print team. These options include silk, gloss, uncoated, and recycled paper, as well as specialist offerings from renowned paper manufacturers such as G.F Smith.

How do I supply my artwork for printing?

Please see the “Artwork Requirements” section on this page, which will explain how to supply your design. Once you complete your purchase above, reply to your confirmation email with your artwork attached, or with a URL for us to download your artwork. Your confirmation email will explain everything you need to do.

Can I have individual names on my certificates?

Yes you can! Each certificate can be personalised with a person's name or specific award - this can be easily accessed via the “split across multiple designs” dropdown and supply us with the personalised data in a separate spreadsheet. Please do contact us if you need any help.

Artwork Requirements

The Basics

Allow 2mm of bleed around all artwork for cutting tolerances.

Format all artwork to CMYK.

Set your resolution to a minimum of 300DPI.

Supply your artwork in PDF, JPG or fully packaged AI formats.

Keep all text, logos and foreground images within a 3mm safe zone from the cut edge.

Metallic Foil & Spot UV Products

Separate all foil elements from CMYK artwork, place foil elements on a separate page, and supply as 100% K (black). See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for foil printing.

Die Cut Or Kiss Cut (Shaped) Products Including Stickers

Indicate cut lines using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page. See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for die/kiss cutting.

Folded, Perforated or Drilled Products

Indicate any crease lines, perforation lines or drill holes using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page.

Spot Colours

Supply your artwork as CMYK + 1 Spot Colour. See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for spot colour printing.

Name your spot colour layer with the colour you've chosen, for example 'gold' or 'silver'.
