Do you have a box packaging template for custom-sized packaging?
If you get in touch with our customer service team, we can discuss your options with you. We'll need to know the dimensions you'd like for your box packaging template and the type of closure involved for the top and the bottom. We can then look at supplying you with packaging templates to work with at your desired size.
What are the largest product packaging boxes you're able to print?
Because we specialise in a customised approach, the best way to set limitations is to say we're able to print any sized packaging that when unfolded and laid flat fit on an A3 sheet which stands at 420mm x 297mm.
Can you print to the inside of the custom box packaging?
Yes, it's possible to print to the inside of your bespoke packaging. What we advise though is to think about how often your packaging is to be opened and closed. It's also important to think about how your product sits inside the bespoke packaging. If the product is likely to rub on the print, it could cause issues in transit. It could be a better idea to include a printed leaflet inside the packaging if you feel like you need more space for instructions and the like.
Does the printed packaging come assembled?
The printed packaging comes cut, creased and with peel-off double-sided tape ready for you to assemble yourself. While this will add time to your end of producing your products, it allows us to print and pack your bespoke packaging much quicker and offer you much cheaper prices. We've made our box packaging template as simple to construct as possible with only one taped edge that needs sticking down.
Can I send my items to you for assembly?
Unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to offer storage and personalised assembly of your products and customised packaging. This does have the benefit of cost-saving for purchasing your custom package printing.
Artwork Requirements
The Basics
Allow 2mm of bleed around all artwork for cutting tolerances.
Format all artwork to CMYK.
Set your resolution to a minimum of 300DPI.
Supply your artwork in PDF, JPG or fully packaged AI formats.
Keep all text, logos and foreground images within a 3mm safe zone from the cut edge.
Metallic Foil & Spot UV Products
Separate all foil elements from CMYK artwork, place foil elements on a separate page, and supply as 100% K (black). See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for foil printing.
Die Cut Or Kiss Cut (Shaped) Products Including Stickers
Indicate cut lines using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page. See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for die/kiss cutting.
Folded, Perforated or Drilled Products
Indicate any crease lines, perforation lines or drill holes using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page.
Spot Colours
Supply your artwork as CMYK + 1 Spot Colour. See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for spot colour printing.
Name your spot colour layer with the colour you've chosen, for example 'gold' or 'silver'.
