FAQS
What is the best material to get my banner printed on?
There isn't a single best banner material to print on. It all depends on your location. Are you indoors or outdoors? Is it windy or exposed? What are you mounting your personalised banner onto. In short regular 440gsm vinyl is a great all-rounder for indoors and out. If you're in a windy location or your banner is exposed to the elements then mesh could be a better choice. Lastly, if you need double-sided print then you have to select our blackout core option so your design doesn't ghost onto the opposite sides. If you're still not sure, our blog about the best material for outdoor banners should point you in the right direction.
How many eyelets will be included on my banner?
We include eyelets roughly every 50cm. We'll indicate where we intend to place eyelets when you receive your digital proof so you can see where they'll land. Try to keep important text at least 50mm away from the edge of your design so the eyelets don't obscure it.
Is your custom banner printing waterproof?
Yes, all banners printed by us are waterproof. They're also tear-resistant and the print is UV-resistant to avoid fading.
What is the biggest size banner printing I can purchase?
We can print banners of any size. Any banner where both the width and height is over 2.4m long would require a seam where we join two banners together. This is known as banner welding.
How should I fix my banner?
It depends on what you're mounting your banner to really. Our best recommendation though is to use every eyelet so the tension is equally spread out. This also prevents tears. For a more in-depth answer we have a blog all about the best way to display banners.
What banner printer do you use?
We have a handful of banner printers in house ranging including both Roland and Mimaki wide-format banner printing machines. Our maximum banner width is 2.4m but we are able to weld banners in house so size isn't an issue.
