Generally, your compliment slip will be standard DL size (210x99mm) which stands for ‘Dimension Lengthwise’. It's the standard size of business stationery such as envelopes, notepads and compliment slip printing. Alternatively, you can get your compliment slips die cut into a custom shape and size of your choosing.
Can my compliment slips be laminated?
Our slips are not available with a lamination as standard. The reason is that most office printers will struggle to print over the top of a laminate. Instead, our letterheads are available in a range of different paper stocks and textures, each providing its unique look and feel suitable for re-printing and writing on.
I’m thinking of printing compliment slips on coloured paper, is this possible?
Yes, our colorplan paper range allows for your slip design to be printed on coloured paper. For full-colour designs, we recommend a lighter colour, such as our White Frost or Natural, for the best results. Our other colorplan papers are best suited to black designs.
Can I write on my printed compliment slips?
As our compliment slips are not laminated, they are easy to write on. We have found that different pen types produce different results when used on our paper stocks. For the best results, we recommend allowing time for the pen ink to dry, to avoid any ink smudging or ink transfers.
