For products with foil, Spot UV, cutting, creasing, perforation or drilling, we strongly recommend including a composite reference page for each printed side to prevent mirrored or misplaced finishing elements and guide our design team when preparing your proof.

A metallic effect created only with CMYK ink can imitate a gold, silver or bronze color, but it cannot reproduce the same mirror-like shine. We can combine foil with printed color, allowing a logo, border, icon or small detail to stand out against the rest of the design. Yes. We print the full-color parts of your design in CMYK and apply your chosen metallic foil to the separate elements you want to shine. This works well when a brand color, photograph or illustration needs to sit alongside a foiled logo, line, border or piece of lettering. Foil is usually most effective when it is used deliberately instead of covering every part of a busy design. Supply the foil artwork separately from the CMYK design so we can identify exactly which areas should receive the metallic finish.
Our current range includes 12 metallic foil colors: gold, silver, rose gold, copper or bronze, pink, violet, red, teal, blue, green, black chrome and holographic. Each foil reflects light differently, so the best choice depends on your printed colors, brand style and the setting in which the sticker will be seen. A screen cannot reproduce real foil shine or holographic color shifts accurately. We therefore recommend ordering a sample pack and viewing the foils against your intended packaging before deciding.
Start with the role the foil needs to play. Gold, rose gold, copper and bronze tend to feel warm and premium; silver and black chrome can look clean and modern; bright colors and holographic foil create a more playful or high-impact result. Consider the surrounding CMYK colors, the product or packaging material and the lighting where customers will see the sticker. If an exact brand-color match is essential, remember that reflective foil behaves differently from flat printed ink. Compare physical samples rather than choosing from a monitor. Yes. We can produce custom die-cut foil stickers around a logo, heart, badge, product outline or another supplied shape. This covers die-cut gold foil stickers as well as designs using silver, copper, holographic and other metallic shades. Keep the foil and important artwork comfortably inside the cut edge so normal printing, foiling and cutting movement does not make the spacing look uneven. Yes. We can print round metallic stickers in full color with selected gold, silver, rose gold, holographic or other foil details. Gold foil circle stickers work particularly well as logo seals, packaging closures and small brand marks because the shape creates a simple frame around the design. Choose a diameter that leaves enough room for the wording and foil to remain clear at the finished size. Keep circular borders and foil rings away from the cut edge, where small production movement would be most noticeable.

Yes. We can print metallic foil award stickers and adhesive certificate seals in gold, silver, copper, bronze and other available foil colors. A design can feature a crest, logo, achievement title, year or short validation message, and it can be circular or custom-shaped. Measure the clear space on the finished certificate before choosing a size, and make sure the seal will not obscure names, signatures, serial numbers or security features. Test a sample on the actual certificate stock to confirm adhesion and check that the foil and sticker material suit the paper.
Yes. We can print metallic foil address labels for business correspondence, invitations and seasonal mail. The sender or return address can be printed in CMYK while a logo, border, monogram or small accent is picked out in gold, silver or another foil color. Foiling the entire recipient address is possible in some layouts, but variable addresses need to be discussed before ordering because each changing version affects artwork and production. If you plan to handwrite the recipient details, leave a clear unfoiled area and test the intended pen on a sample.

Often, yes, but each version must be identified clearly and the number of designs selected in the order must match the artwork supplied. Provide a simple file list or spreadsheet showing each name, address or design and its required quantity. Use consistent spelling, capitalization and formatting, and flag any version that uses a different size, shape or foil treatment. We will confirm whether the variations can share one production specification or need separate items. This is especially important for personalized foil name stickers, foil address labels and seasonal sticker sets.
Foil normally has the greatest impact when it highlights a focal point such as a logo, word, border, star, crest or small illustration detail. Leaving some areas as print creates contrast and makes the reflective finish easier to notice. Avoid very fine foil lines, tiny gaps and designs that depend on foil aligning perfectly with a printed outline, because normal digital production includes small movement between processes. Foiled text and artwork should be bold enough to reproduce cleanly at the final sticker size. Hairline rules, tiny lettering, narrow gaps and intricate reversed-out details can fill in, break up or lose clarity, particularly when foil must align closely with printed artwork. We recommend viewing the file at actual size, simplifying delicate elements and leaving space between neighboring foil shapes. Our team will review the supplied artwork, but the designer remains responsible for readability and content. If a fine detail is essential, ask us to assess it before placing a large order.
Yes. Our metallic foil sticker process includes soft-touch lamination before the foil is applied. The laminate gives the printed areas a smooth finish and adds a useful layer of surface protection, while the metallic details remain reflective above it. Lamination improves handling resistance but does not make every sticker waterproof, weatherproof or suitable for heavy abrasion. Metallic foil stickers are well suited to premium packaging, product seals, certificates and other applications where the finish will receive normal handling. Soft-touch lamination helps protect the printed face, but exposed foil can still mark under repeated rubbing or harsh cleaning, and the adhesive result depends on the surface. We do not recommend assuming that a foil sticker is automatically waterproof, outdoor-rated or suitable for an extreme environment. Apply a sample to the exact clean, dry surface and test it through the expected handling, storage and temperature conditions before ordering a larger quantity.
Yes, especially if the sticker will be applied to a curved or uneven item, exposed to moisture, refrigeration or heat, or used on a difficult or unfamiliar surface. Materials, coatings, contamination and application conditions all affect adhesion, so we cannot guarantee that one adhesive will suit every object. We strongly recommend testing five physical samples on the exact surface and leaving them through the expected storage and handling cycle. A successful test is more reliable than judging adhesion from the material name alone.
Yes. If you do not have print-ready artwork, our design team can develop the sticker from your logo, wording, brand colors, references and intended use. Tell us the finished size and shape, which elements should be foiled, the foil color you prefer and any versions you need. Supply the best-quality logo and images available and describe the style you want. A clear brief reduces revisions and helps us design with the production process in mind. Check the spelling, dimensions, cut shape, CMYK artwork and foil placement separately. Make sure every intended metallic element appears on the foil page or overlay and that nothing has been included by mistake. Review fine lettering, personalized data, borders and areas where foil sits near printed artwork or the cut edge. A screen proof shows position and content, but it cannot reproduce the way real foil reflects light, so use a physical sample when the shade or finish is critical. Supply the main artwork as a PDF, JPG or fully packaged Adobe Illustrator file, using CMYK color and at least 300 DPI for raster images at the final size. Add 0.08 inches of bleed and keep important text, logos and foreground details within the 0.1-inch safe zone. Put every foiled element on a separate page or layer as a solid 100% K black shape; do not use gradients, tints or photographic shading in the foil mask.
