We recommend our stickers for a wide range of products and applications; however, due to the nature of different sticker materials, adhesive types, finishes, and environmental conditions, we cannot guarantee seamless application on every surface, shape, or material. Because of this, we recommend ordering a sample pack and testing our stickers on your intended surface before placing your order.
For foiled stickers, curved or uneven surfaces (such as jars or bottles), or products exposed to moisture, refrigeration, heat, or other extreme conditions, we strongly recommend ordering 5 sample copies of your stickers to test prior to committing to a full run, giving you complete peace of mind when placing your order.
We aim to produce and dispatch all orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. As every product is custom printed to order, turnaround times can vary depending on artwork approval, quantity, finishing options and the complexity of the project. More specialist products and finishes, including duplex, triplex, die cut and foiled items, will usually require additional production time due to the extra processes involved.

What Information Should I Include on a Coffee Label Sticker?+
Give the most space to the information customers need first: your coffee brand, product or blend name and a clear visual identity. Depending on the product, you may also need origin, roast level, tasting notes, whole-bean or ground format, net quantity, batch or date details, business information and other mandatory food information. Keep the front easy to scan and use another sticker or pack panel if the copy becomes crowded. You are responsible for confirming which labeling rules apply to your product and sales market; we print the wording you approve rather than deciding its legal content.
Where Should I Place Stickers on Coffee Bags?+
Choose the largest smooth, flat area that remains visible when the bag is filled. Keep the sticker away from gussets, folds, zippers, heat-sealed edges and the degassing valve, because these features can interrupt the design or reduce adhesive contact. Fill one production bag, mark the usable panel and test a paper mock-up at the actual sticker size. Check that the label still reads clearly as the pack changes shape and that barcodes or QR codes do not wrap around an edge.
Will Coffee Stickers Adhere to Kraft, Coated or Compostable Bags?+
They can, but a packaging description alone does not tell us how its surface will accept an adhesive. Kraft bags may be fibrous or coated, while compostable and high-barrier pouches can use films or finishes with very different surface properties. Apply a sample to the exact clean, dry production bag, press it down firmly and test it through filling, sealing, storage and delivery. Do not assume that a sticker shares the bag’s compostability or recycling claim; verify the complete packaging specification before making an environmental statement.
Can I Use Printed Coffee Stickers on Takeout Cups and Lids?+
Yes. Coffee cup stickers can add your logo, identify a drink or promote a seasonal offer without the expense of fully printed cups. Lid stickers can also identify an order or help close delivery packaging. Apply them to a clean, dry outer surface and test the exact cup or lid, because texture, curvature, steam, heat and condensation can affect the bond. Keep vents, sip openings, seams and moving parts clear, and never position a sticker where it could contact the drink. Make sure staff can apply the chosen size quickly and consistently during a busy service.
Can Coffee Stickers Seal Bakery Bags or Brand Coffee Tins?+
Yes. We can print stickers to close a folded bakery bag, brand a pastry box or add a front label to a coffee tin. For a closure seal, test whether the adhesive holds across the fold without lifting as the package flexes. For tins, apply the sticker to a clean, dry area free from coffee oils, dust and fingerprints, and avoid sharp ridges or seams. Stickers supplied on peel-and-stick sheets can be convenient for repeated counter or packing use; tell us how you plan to apply them so we can discuss the format.
Can You Print Different Labels for Each Roast, Blend or Grind?+
Yes. We can print a coordinated sticker range for different origins, roasts, blends, decaf options or grind types. Keep the logo, type hierarchy and core layout consistent, then use a clear color, name or graphic change to distinguish each product. Supply every variation as a separate, clearly named file and give us the required size and quantity for each version. The number of designs can affect how an order is arranged and priced, so confirm the complete range with us before ordering. We will send proofs for approval before printing.
Can I Leave Space for Roast Dates, Batch Codes or Grind Details?+
Yes. We can leave a blank field in the artwork for a roast date, batch code, grind choice or best-by date that you add during packing. The writing method should influence the finish: an unlaminated face may accept a ballpoint pen more readily, while a laminate normally needs a suitable permanent marker. Test the exact pen, allow the ink to dry and check that it stays legible after handling. Leave enough room for real handwriting and keep variable details comfortably inside the cut edge.
How Should I Size a Sticker Around a Coffee Bag Valve or Seal?+
Measure the usable flat panel on a filled bag rather than an empty package lying on a desk. Position the sticker so it clears the valve, zipper, heat seal and gussets, then make a paper mock-up and flex the bag as it will move in use. Important text, logos and codes should sit comfortably inside the sticker because normal printing and cutting involve small movement tolerances. How Do I Apply Coffee Stickers Straight and Without Bubbles?+
Start with a clean, dry package at a comfortable room temperature. On a filled bag or curved cup, position the sticker before removing all of the backing, anchor one edge and smooth it down gradually from the center toward the edges. Avoid trapping folds in flexible bags or forcing a large label across a strong curve. Press the full face and edges firmly, then allow the adhesive time to settle before the package is chilled, heated or heavily handled. A simple placement guide can help staff apply repeated labels at a consistent height and angle.
How Do Coffee Stickers Handle Heat, Condensation and Oils?+
The answer depends on the selected material, adhesive, finish and the amount of exposure. Heat from a cup, condensation from a cold drink and oils on coffee packaging can all affect appearance or adhesion. Apply stickers only to clean, dry surfaces and test them through the real service, packing, storage and delivery cycle. A laminate can add surface protection, but it does not make every sticker oil-proof, heat-proof or suitable for wet conditions. Should I Choose a Matte or Gloss Finish for Coffee Stickers?+
Choose the finish that supports your brand and how the package will be handled. A matte finish gives artwork a softer, understated appearance that often suits specialty or natural-looking coffee ranges, while gloss can make colors feel brighter and gives the face more shine. Lamination can also add surface protection, but it does not guarantee resistance to coffee oils, heat, condensation or moisture at the sticker edges. What Artwork Files Should I Supply for Coffee Sticker Printing?+
Supply your artwork as a PDF, JPG or fully packaged Adobe Illustrator file. Set color artwork to CMYK and raster images to at least 300 DPI at the final size. Include 0.08 inches of bleed beyond every cut edge and keep product names, legal copy, logos, barcodes and QR codes at least 0.1 inches inside the edge. Give each roast, blend or grind variation a clear filename and include the required size and quantity for every version. Yes. We recommend testing on the exact production surface because cups, lids, bags, tins, coatings and packaging films can behave differently even when they look similar. Aura is the best, most professional, fastest, and...Aura is the best, most professional, fastest, and highest quality printer I have ever worked with. I custom designed an invitation suite for a retirement party, and first worked with Aura on my save-the-dates before doing a larger order. I was blown away by the lightning-fast proofing process, and then the incredibly quick printing. Both orders included custom foiling (which I could not find for a better price point anywhere, especially here in the US). We graphic designers know that human creativity is the core of what we do, which is why I was so appreciative that I was working with fellow humans through this process, and not through some AI. Further, the shipping process was spectacular. Whereas many US-based businesses were offering week-long SHIPPING times (excluding printing), Aura offers as its default UPS Express shipping for the US. As a result, their shipments have a 2-day transit time (for me, in a smaller city, but would be overnight for major metros), and are guaranteed by UPS. Having traversed the world of e-commerce shipping, nothing brings me greater relief than to see UPS as a shipping option. Additionally, and quite importantly for my fellow US designers, because my order consisted of what could reasonably be described as printed marketing materials, they should not be subject to tariffs. The shipping department at Aura made sure that the customs information was filled out correctly, leaving me with no duties to pay, for which I am eternally grateful. Awed by the quality of my save-the-dates, proceeding with the rest of my suite was a no-brainer, which included a main invite, detail card, and reply card. The turnaround time was similarly rapid, and the quality of the work simply unmatched. To all designers, but especially those in the US, do not let the idea of an international shipper stop you. I've never known a more professional company, period, and will certainly be reordering whenever my next printing job arises. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!
