How do you insert the plant tags into the soil?
We offer two main ways to insert your plant tag into the soil or to attach it to a branch. You can print any shape and size plant tag that you need with a stake at the bottom which can be pushed into the soil or we offer a templated branch tag which has three sizes to fit most branches up to 2inch thick. You also don’t need to worry if the tag gets wet since it's printed on waterproof material.
How long does custom plant tag printing take?
Printing your custom plant tags can take as little as 5 working days from proof approval. We use UPS Express 1-3 day for shipments in the USA.
What is the difference between a plant pot tag and a branch tag?
Branch tags can be looped around the stem and adjusted according to the thickness of the plant. The plant pot tags have a fold so they can be pushed into the soil. Ideal if you want to include more plant care information such as the frequency of watering or if the plant prefers sun or shade. If you require a custom cut plant tag, just let us know your specific requirements and we will send you a customised quote.
Are plant tags waterproof?
We print plant tags onto nevertear material which is completely waterproof and tear proof. This ensures that the information remains visible and it isn’t affected by harsh weather or when you water and feed your plants.
How long do your plant tags last?
Since our plant tags are made from nevertear material, they can last an amazingly long time in your garden or in a plant pot. They're fully recyclable too, just pop them in with your plastics when you're done.
How do you install branch tags?
Our plant branch tags are easily looped around the branch, before being pushed though the hole in the tag. You can pull the branch tag a little tighter if required to secure it in place. Our pre-sized branch tag is ideal for branches between 1" and 2" thick.
How do you install plant pot tags?
Our plant pot tags have a crease in the spike which enables you to easily push it into the soil in your container.
Can you design my plant tags for me?
We have a range of pre-sized templates, but our graphics team can design it for you too. Simply select "Supply Brief & We Design" when you place your order online.
Can I design my own plant pot tags?
You can supply your own artwork for your plant tag printing. We have some pre-assorted shapes that you can choose from, or you can design your own custom shaped tag. We also offer plant pot stickers if you’d like to design ones to match to finish off your branding.
Artwork Requirements
The Basics
Allow 0.08" (2mm) of bleed around all artwork for cutting tolerances.
Format all artwork to CMYK.
Set your resolution to a minimum of 300DPI.
Supply your artwork in PDF, JPG or fully packaged AI formats.
Keep all text, logos and foreground images within a 0.1" (3mm) safe zone from the cut edge.
Metallic Foil & Spot UV Products
Separate all foil elements from CMYK artwork, place foil elements on a separate page, and supply as 100% K (black). See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for foil printing.
Die Cut Or Kiss Cut (Shaped) Products Including Stickers
Indicate cut lines using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page. See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for die/kiss cutting.
Folded, Perforated or Drilled Products
Indicate any crease lines, perforation lines or drill holes using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page.
Spot Colors
Supply your artwork as CMYK + 1 Spot Color. See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for spot color printing.
Name your spot color layer with the color you've chosen, for example 'gold' or 'silver'.
