Mostly, yes, but we would recommend keeping away from water. The plastic outer to these business cards does repel water to protect your card from water damage. But, as our plastic business cards are created by sealing paper within plastic, the edge of this seal does show some of the paper inside. These edges are susceptible to water damage.
if you need a fully waterproof card, then our nevertear cards are perfect.
We can’t lead you one way or another in whether you should have rounded corners on your plastic business cards or not. But, from experience, without a rounded corner the corner edges of the card can be quite sharp. Rounding the corner softens the edge, making the plastic business card much nicer to hold.
In short, the difference between our two types of plastic business card is that the 760 micron is thicker than the 600 micron. Both materials are strong and water resistant, but the 760 micron is slightly tougher and sturdier for your business cards.
Yes and no. We’ve found that some pens work with our plastic business cards and some simply don’t. Finding the right pen is a process of trial and error, and drying time would be required to stop the ink from smudging. If you’re looking for a business card to write on, the plastic business card is not the best choice. Instead, we would recommend a paper business card, as these cards are much easier to write on.
